Popular Filipino pop-rock band The Itchyworms are set to return to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for back-to-back concerts this January, more than a decade since their last visit.
The four-piece group will bring their “Akin Ka Na Lang” tour to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, marking their first performance in the Middle Eastern country since 2014.
The Dubai show will take place at the Pakistan Auditorium on January 17, followed by the Abu Dhabi gig at New Bar, Arkadia on January 18.
“Our last UAE show was in 2014. We are so excited to fly back and perform for our kababayan out there!” the band said in a statement.
Fans can also expect a setlist composed of chart-toppers, deep cuts, crowd favorites and a “few surprises sprinkled in.”
The concert aims to rekindle the band’s connection with their overseas Filipino audiences and show their artistic growth.
“When we first went there, we were still very young and in our 20s. Now, we are more mature musically, as individuals, and as a band. This return feels very special,” Itchyworms said.

Itchyworms is known for songs such as “Akin Ka Na Lang,” “Beer,” “Love Team” and “Gusto Ko Lamang Sa Buhay.”
